Our Team

Masjid Development Team

Vision 99 project implementation is led by the Masjid Development Team (MDT). The MDT is structured to manage different work streams with a specifically selected leader who is an expert in that work stream. The MDT is co-led by two former RCM Board members who are seasoned in project management and development.

The MDT reports to the RCM Board of Trustees and collaborate closely with the religious and operational leaders of the organization.

The overall team includes over 25 skilled, talented and enthusiastic volunteer and staff members in the fields of engineering, architecture, environmental studies, community relations, fund development, social media, information technology, project management, construction management, and leadership.


Our Expert Team

Emad Sabbah

V99 Fundraising
Emad is a seasoned business leader who dedicated much of his time to community service. Emad is a co-founder and president of ETHAAR, a community-based organization that serves local and underserved families in Georgia. Emad is a founding member and served on the boards of many NGOs such as ILM Academy, Atlanta Mentorship, Janaza Services, CAIR-GA. He currently serves as the vice chair of CAIR National in Washington. Emad has been chosen as one the most 100 influential GA Muslims and was a member of Governor Kemp first ever fundraising host committee by the Muslim community.

Huzaifa Amjad

Huzaifa Amjad, is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a passion for corporate tax and community involvement. With 5 years of professional experience, Huzaifa has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, providing tax advisory services to clients and companies across various industries. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Huzaifa grew up with a love for sports and community engagement. He is deeply committed to giving back and helping others.

Ehab Jaleel

Community Engagement
Ehab is the co-founder and Executive Director of Amana Academy, an emerging network of charter public schools serving a thousand students in metro Atlanta. Adding to his previous experience in corporate roles at GE and Coca-Cola and serving on nonprofit boards, he is leveraging his love for RCM and the amazing talent on this committee to rally community stakeholders toward Vision99.

Tanvir Sarmast

Tanvir’s passion lies in making a positive contribution to the Community. With over 25 years of experience working for The Coca-Cola Company, she retired as Group Director in Information Technology, having gained over a decade of senior leadership experience managing multiple cross functional teams worldwide. She finds inspiration in leveraging her skills to fulfill the needs of the wider community, evident in her involvement in establishing an Islamic Sunday school, which she ran for five years. Additionally, she has served on the RCM Board and led committees that have made significant positive impacts. When she’s not busy with her community work, she cherishes spending time with her grandchildren.

Maher Budeir

Maher has been involved in establishing and leading community organizations for over 20 years.  He is a certified trainer in nonprofit governance and leadership.  He was a co-founder of Roswell Community Masjid (RCM) and served in several different roles in serving the RCM community.  Maher is an environmental engineer and has a long career in public service. Maher has extensive experience in working on development and construction projects.  Maher is leveraging his experience in development, environmental sciences, and nonprofit leadership in making Vision99 a true community based sustainable project.

Kamran Siddiq

Project Development
Kamran Siddiq has over 25 years of construction experience is the Co-Founder of Excel Capital Construction. He has a strong background in new construction planning, coordination, and administration. He is a graduate of Emory University who went on to nurture his passion for construction by continuing his education at Georgia Tech. He later received his MBA from Georgia State University with a Concentration in Real Estate. Kamran has been residing in Roswell since 1999 and has been a part of the RCM community since its early years. He enjoys being an active member and volunteering his time in various capacities. He is currently serving as the lead for the Roswell Community Masjid Vision99 Project Development Team.
