We are thrilled to announce that the Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design has recognized Vision 99 as a pioneering project in the realm of sustainable architecture. This acknowledgment marks a significant milestone for Vision 99, highlighting our commitment to creating a space that not only serves the community but also embodies the principles of environmental stewardship.

The Kendeda Building, itself a model of sustainability, is the first Living Building in the Southeast and has set the bar for what is possible in sustainable design. Their support of Vision 99 as a Living Building in the making is a testament to the innovative approach we’ve taken in planning the new home for Roswell Community Masjid.

When we embarked on this journey, our goal was clear: to build a masjid that would last for generations—99 years and beyond—while leaving no negative impact on the environment. Inspired by Islamic teachings on stewardship of the earth, we knew we wanted to create a space that honored these values in every aspect of its design and construction. 

The recognition from the Kendeda Building strengthens our resolve to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sustainable design. Vision 99 is more than just a building—it’s a commitment to the future, to our community, and to the planet.
